AIA's Expansion Program

€1.28 billion investment to transform Athens International Airport

Athens International Airport is embarking on an ambitious transformation that will redefine the future of air travel in Greece. Our accelerated expansion program represents more than infrastructure development—it's a bold commitment to creating a world-class gateway that serves 40 million passengers annually by 2032, five years ahead of the original schedule. This strategic investment will expand our terminal facilities by over 150,000 square meters, more than double our commercial space, and position AIA among Europe's most modern and efficient aviation hubs.
